About these terms
These terms apply to Mooncork and its promotional website, provided by Better Good Gang LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Questions? Email mail@aaronmcguire.design.
Your game license
App Store downloads are licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms. These terms supplement that agreement with information about our game and website; they do not replace it. If they conflict about the app license, Apple’s Standard EULA controls. Better Good Gang LLC and its licensors retain their rights in the game, artwork, music, and website. You may play for personal enjoyment and share your own gameplay screenshots or recordings.
A complete adventure
The base adventure contains 120 floors. Our planned US launch price is $1.99, paid once through the App Store. The price shown by Apple at checkout, including local pricing and applicable taxes, controls. There are no paid power-ups, hints, extra lives, or subscriptions. Hints and the spare bottle are included in the game, with a ten-minute recharge after use. The game contains no advertising.
Future adventures
We may offer optional additional level packs as separate, one-time purchases. They are not required to complete the base adventure. Future content, pricing, and release dates are not guaranteed. No expansion packs are currently offered in this version.
Payments and refunds
Apple processes App Store transactions. Purchase eligibility, billing, and refund requests are handled through Apple and subject to its terms and applicable consumer law. Nothing here limits any non-waivable refund or consumer rights.
Progress and availability
Mooncork stores progress on your device and is playable offline after installation. Deleting the app, losing your device, or a failed device backup can result in lost progress. We cannot recover local saves. Updates may change features or device compatibility. We do not guarantee that the app or website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Respect the work
Do not redistribute or sell the game or its assets, infringe others’ rights, or misuse the website to disrupt its operation. Restrictions do not apply where applicable law permits an activity. Third-party services and linked websites have their own terms.
Your rights
Applicable law and Apple’s Standard EULA govern the app’s warranties and liability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. We do not require you to waive mandatory consumer protections.
Changes and contact
